The Operation
The Facility

Welcome to the St. Aidan's Community Centre web site. This site features information about the Centre, some contact names and the availability of facilities.

Our Aim

To serve the community and supply a venue that is clean safe and welcoming. Our venue has been used for every occasion from children's parties to bridge Clubs and many more.

Where \ Who \ What

The Centre is situated at the top of Polwarth Drive in Brunton Park, Gosforth, next to St. Aidan's Church.

There are three rooms available for hire, the main hall - maximum capacity approximately 150, the Club Room - maximum 55 and a Committee Room with en suite kitchen for meetings and small gatherings. There is a large kitchen with cooking facilities and crockery, but only a small amount of cutlery.

The Centre was built about 40 years ago by public subscription of the residents of Brunton Park, and has no connection with St. Aidan's Church or Newcastle City Council.

The Centre is an independent and self supporting charity, relying solely on rental income and donations from users, together with occasional grants from organisations such as Newcastle City Council, The National Lottery and the local Parish Council
